Contains the following type of material: photographs. Covers the following wars: Civil War, Indian Wars, Spanish-American War, World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII), Korean War, Vietnam War. General description of the collection: The Parry family photograph collection consists of photographic coverage of one American family's contributions to many phases and time periods of United States (U.S.) military history. There are portraits of Parry family members who participated in every war between the Civil War and Vietnam, both men and women, both officers and enlisted. There are some excellent group and scene photos from virtually all these time periods. This family has been involved not only in the wartime service but also was in the National Guard and Naval Reserve as well. The most recent photos are of a Naval Reserve officer in 1985.
